No. KCC starts from the very beginning. Whether your child has never touched a computer or already spends hours on one, we meet them where they are.

A laptop or tablet with internet access. We'll send a full list of requirements before the cycle begins. If access to a device is a barrier, reach out, we want to find a way to make it work.

Each cycle runs over several weeks with regular sessions. We'll share the full schedule during the enrolment process.

Primarily in-person at the RIL lab. We'll communicate any changes to the format before the cycle begins.

It depends on the cycle theme, but typically a game, an interactive animation, or a simple app they can show their friends and family. At the end of the cycle, they present their project to an audience.

Parents are welcome to the orientation session and the final presentation. Day-to-day sessions are for the children, part of the program is giving them independent ownership of their work.
